Terra Data Consulting (“Terra Data,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values the privacy and confidentiality of our clients’ information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect data in the course of providing consulting and operational services. By engaging with Terra Data’s services, clients agree to the terms described herein.
1. Scope and Purpose
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected and processed by Terra Data Consulting in connection with our professional consulting services. Terra Data Consulting provides services exclusively to clients located within the United States. This Policy does not apply to information collected by third-party platforms, software, or systems owned or operated by our clients.
2. Information We Collect
In the course of performing services, Terra Data may collect or have access to information such as contact details, account credentials, project-related data, or operational information necessary to perform consulting work. All such information is provided voluntarily by clients for the purpose of engagement.
3. How We Use Information
Terra Data uses client information solely for business purposes, including performing contracted services, maintaining client accounts, and improving service delivery. We do not sell, trade, or share client data with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.
4. Client Credentials and Account Access
Clients may provide Terra Data with credentials or account access for third-party platforms (such as CRMs, analytics tools, or communication systems) as part of our services. Terra Data maintains this access only for the duration necessary to perform the contracted work. If a client revokes access or requests deletion of credentials, Terra Data will remove such access and delete any stored credentials within five (5) business days of receiving written notice.
5. Contractors and Third Parties
Terra Data may engage independent contractors to assist in delivering certain aspects of client projects. Contractors operate under their own business policies and are not under Terra Data’s direct control. Terra Data is not responsible for the independent actions, omissions, or data handling practices of such contractors.
6. Cookies and Website Analytics
Terra Data’s website is hosted on Squarespace, which may use limited analytics cookies to monitor performance metrics such as page visits and general site traffic. Terra Data does not independently deploy tracking technologies or collect personally identifiable browsing data. Any data collected through Squarespace analytics is governed by Squarespace’s privacy practices.
7. Data Security
Terra Data implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect client data within its control, including credential management, access restrictions, and secure file storage. While no system can guarantee absolute security, Terra Data maintains practices consistent with the sensitivity of the information handled.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Terra Data retains project-related records, client communications, and work product for a period not exceeding ninety (90) calendar days following completion or termination of services, after which such information is securely deleted unless otherwise required by law. Clients may request earlier deletion by submitting a written request to contact@terradataconsulting.com.
9. Client Rights and Requests
Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information maintained by Terra Data by submitting a written request to contact@terradataconsulting.com. Terra Data will respond to such requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically within five (5) business days.
10. Updates to This Policy
Terra Data reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in legal requirements or operational practices. The revised version will be indicated by the updated revision date at the top of this document and will become effective upon posting.
